This location suited our needs. We were able to drive in and out without any complications. We used the walking trail located close to this site, so got our fitness needs. This trail provided walking distance to the town center. The staff was and is always professional, courteous, and very personable. We appreciated that they talked with us as if we knew each other. The breakfast area seemed a bit crowded due to its popularity and constant use. They had the typical hotel breakfast amenities---eggs, meat, bread products, cereal but also a cinnamon roll counter next to the coffee/drink area. Of course, we "had to" have a cinnamon roll with our coffee!

The hotel is located on the Columbia River, almost under the Astoria-Megler bridge. Our room was on the top floor, with an amazing view looking out over the river. I don't know how they did it, but the room was so soundproofed that you only heard traffic on the bridge if big truck pulling a trailer had stuff that rattled and clanked. I was so surprised and pleased. Beds were comfortable. The room was clean except that the bathroom floor was sticky, probably from being inadequately rinsed after mopping. We stayed two nights and were very comfortable there.

Breakfast was good, nice choices, staff very pleasant , loved the pancake machine! We upgraded to a water veiw room, that we were pleased that we did, to be able to watch the boats go by. Room was comfortable and nice, ice machine just down the hall fridg and coffee maker if we needed. Front desk helpful in giving us area maps and directions and restauant suggestions

Breakfast was awesome. Traveling with our Grandsons and it was a great start to the day. The location and our view from our room was great.

Upon checking in we were greeted by the kindest most caring person. we were given a brief tour of the hotel amenities and given directions to to local restaurants

The staff were so friendly! Not only did they make us seem welcomed, they were so welcoming to the dogs! We took our dog outside and when we came back in they offered a water bowl and treats for them. The rooms were clean, there was heaters in the hallways, plenty of stairs and elevators to get up/down. It's right under the bridge and we had a river view so we were able to watch the ships coming in/out.

Facility is nice. The view under the bridge isn't shared by any other hotel in town.

I loved the view. I think that's the best part. And I love that it's close to everything, shopping, grocery stores, museums, and restaurants. It's in a great location and very clean. Everything was just awesome.
